FOUR STEP PRODUCTION PROCESS
STEP ONE - TREATMENT AND BUDGET (One Week) - Our producer will work closely with your contact person in defining the needs and desires of your particular video. We will present a treatment or outline to define the target audience, general purpose, content, length and flow or continuity. At this time we will also present an in-depth budget and a time frame for completion of the production.
STEP TWO - PRE-PRODUCTION (One to Two Weeks) - The research and writing of the proposed script and the development of a video design or story-board of the production’s finished look are involved in this phase. Talent, locations, graphics, music, and other
production elements are identified. It’s best if we can obtain script approval three working days prior to the start of production.
STEP THREE - PRODUCTION (One Week) -This phase involves the actual on-location and/or studio production and the compilation of video support materials and properties. Production involves the coordination of crew, talent, direction, and recording. Production involves video tape recording of individual scenes, as well as logging and reviewing scene footage.
STEP FOUR - POST PRODUCTION (One Week) -This involves the editing of the various video and audio elements into a cohesive finished product. Graphics, special effects and scene transitions are incorporated in the production at this time. When the first draft is complete, there is a client review producess. The finished production will be dubbed onto the tape format specified by the client, output to DVD or CD-ROM or uploaded to the internet.
Of course, time lines change depending upon the needs of our clients. Sometimes clients need the finished production, yesterday. For our clients we will move mountains . . . and time.
